Peaceful or Violent Revolution? Change.
The existing power structure in the United States is extremely broken and getting worse.
It's time for a new political structure in the United States. A simple reflection of history shows that when things get as bad as they are currently in the United States with corruption and manipulation, a revolution takes place. The revolution is really just a massive change in “the way things are done.” Sometimes it is done peacefully through voting or massive policy change, and sometimes it happens violently through military overthrow or what happened to form the U.S., a revolutionary war.
I am generally optimistic, and do my best to look at things as they are and not as I wish they were or want them to be, because I’ve learned that what I think is right or good may not be so. Although I would like to believe that less corruption in government and manipulation of people, power, and resources would be a good thing. So here are a few signs that tell me things are not looking good.
We are only arresting and prosecuting certain criminals. Donald Trump was recently arrested, which is fine if the case against him is legitimate, but Hilary Clinton, Anthony Fauci, Nancy Pelosi, and the Biden family remain untouched when there is substantial evidence of crimes anywhere from financial to tampering with evidence to lying under oath to congress and the people of the nation. These are all serious offenses being ignored by many people and the legal system. There should be no “untouchables” in a just system.
We have strayed away from the founding principles of the country and amendments are being attacked which were placed there specifically for the protection of the people and their rights. Again, studying history what is happening right now with extreme liberalism looks to be a resurgence of the Mao era in China, except with a lot of resistance. I would encourage anybody pushing an extreme liberal agenda to study what happened in that time frame as the people who pushed the agenda were some of the first to become its victims when students turned against their teachers. i am less concerned with extreme right views simply because WW2 is still fresh on the minds of these generations and the U.S. actively participated in that war. The amount of people who would rally against a Hitler-style party is plenty. Because a small percentage of people in the U.S. even understand Mao’s China or are aware of it, we are at a much higher risk of being susceptible to “the unknown.”
I have no crystal ball. Will tensions rise to the point of great conflict between the extremes? Have we been numbed so much that the desire to force change is not significant enough, and the masses will continue to be herded and pushed around? Accepting each new change until the power shift is so great that corruption becomes the new normal and Orwell’s 1984 is the dominant story? I really hope not. And as I get older I find that I am much more calm than I used to be, but inside of me burns a fire for justice protecting others and I imagine I am not alone. In fact, I know I am not alone.
